When you make the short trip into historic downtown Durango, Colorado from your cabin at O-Bar-O, you’ll find yourself in a very dog-friendly town. The Animas River Trail is a great place to get a glimpse of Durango’s river with unique stops and historic information markers along the way. The Durango Dog Park, located on the Animas River on Smelter Mountain, is a place where your pups can run free with other friends, take a dip in the river, and tire-out for a nice nap when you return to your cabin and relax in the hot tub!
