At the O-Bar-O we understand situations arise making cancellations unavoidable. However, last minute cancellations are difficult to fill as our guests reserve stays far in advance. We have created these cancellation policies with fairness for all in mind:

If you must CANCEL your Cabin reservation, please call us 30 days in advance of your arrival date. You will receive a refund of your deposit, less a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, we will retain your deposit and charge a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 14 days prior to your arrival, you will be responsible for the entire reservation payment plus a $75 cancellation fee. (Unless you choose Travel Protection!)

If you need to POSTPONE your Cabin Reservation, please contact us as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days in advance of your arrival. We will carry your deposit forward to another reservation date that is available. We are unable to postpone reservations (carry deposits forward) within that 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival — it’s just too hard to fill the empty cabins. So let us know ASAP (and certainly 14 days prior) about any plan changes.

Multiple Cabin Bookings require a 60 day cancellation notice — including family reunions, and for holidays and special events. This applies regardless if one person pays for all of the cabins or each cabin is paid individually. If canceled 60 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a refund less a $75 cancellation fee PER CABIN canceled. If you want to postpone your multi-cabin reservation, we will need 60 days notice to carry your deposit forward to the rebooking at no charge.

If you shorten your stay or check out early no refund will be issued.

Rates/policies are subject to change and may vary during high impact periods and special requests.

Travel Protection

We have very clear cancellation policies and if you have to cancel 14 days prior to your  reservation starting, you are responsible for the full stay. HOWEVER… through our Reservation System Travel Protection program, you can protect yourself if you have to cancel within 14 days of your arrival. When you book your stay, choose Travel Protection. Pay the full price of the reservation when booking. If you have to cancel within the 14 days prior to your arrival for reasons outlined in the Protection Plan, then you will receive a full refund less the 10% travel protection fee. This applies to reservations canceled within 14 days of arrival, otherwise our Cancellation policies stand.
