The Durango fishing is some of the best in the USA. From the San Juan mountain high country to the semi-arid San Juan river tailwater, world-class fly fishing for trophy size trout awaits the angler year-round. And nearby Vallecito Lake hosts a winter ice fishing tournament that brings people from all over the country! Of course, we love to fish right outside our cabin doors on the Florida River!
If you didn’t bring equipment with you, or if you are trying fishing for the first time, no problem! We have equipment you can rent 24 hours. See below for pricing and details. Fishing licenses are required and we can set you up when you get here!

Full Day (24-HR) Package Rentals: $65
Includes: Equipped Fly Fishing Vest with tools, Net. Fly Fishing Rod, Reel, and special Fly Box with flies recommended by the local guides (bring this home as a souvenir). Don't need the flies? Without Fly Box $50.
